Jim was admitted to hospital last Friday when antibiotics prescribed for a bug disagreed with him, he had been having problems eating and then got diarrhea yesterday he seemed a bit better but deteriorated during the night. We went straight to the hospital as soon as we were called. His Doctor said they didn't expect him to recover has he had got a secondary infection and was unable to fight it because his immune system was compromised. It was agreed that there would be no intervention and he died peacefully at 6.20 pm.

dear sheila, so sorry to hear that jim has passed away, my thoughts and love are with you at this sad time if ever you need to chat to somone just know im here, and i have been through what you are going through now but with my mum 5 yrs ago and although it was expected at sometime just wasnt expected at that time so came as a shock. love and best wishes debs xx
