Passed Fit to Fly

Went to Harefield today for follow up appointment with my surgeon, she was very pleased on how the operation went from her point of view, she said the Bullae was 130 mm long so not suprising I was in a bad way. Anyway she has now discharged me from Harefield and I will have a follow up with her and some volume tests at Windsor in the new year.

I am feeling pretty good now, sleeping is still not that good and I have weaned off the pain killers during the day and I just have some at night but my breathing is really improving, I really noticed today where getting from the carpark to recption at Harefield would have been three walks and two rests and I just walked straight there today so It is looking really positive.

I am passed fit to fly so we are flying to Spain tomorrow afternoon for 16 days so I can spend plenty of time in fresh sea air getting some decent excercise, won't have 24/7 access to the internet there so will be not around here too much but will send you a postcard !!

Hi Perce happy holidays if you've not already left heading for the sun. You have to be very proud of yourself for going through with your operation and the way in which you have recuperated and improved your breathing. Hope this is your best holiday ever!

Happy holidays and take care
