I don't like to see questions go unanswered here, but I don't know what I can do to help. Your GP surgery is where you need to start, they must know who to contact. I'm puzzled as to why it's a private firm really.

nhs copd nurse informed maureen that their function has been taken over by a private firm this was on 28/09/ phoned our gp today 01/10 and they dont seem to have any idea whats happening the receptionis is trying to get sme information but at the moment no news

Pitside, whoever advised you to contact the nurse should know how this can be done? Your GP surgery will make referrals to the nurse so will know where to send them.

Hi Pitside

We are not sure about this - maybe to do with NHS commissioning bodies coming together. The changes shouldn't make any changes to the actual treatment you receive. As Gordon suggests going back to your GP would be a good place to start.

Please let us know how you get on.

Best Wishes

Jo
