Dooes anyone else find they are more breathless in late afternoon and evenings, is it because we are getting tired?

Yes, caroleoctober, I too find that between 6-8pm my breathing becomes more laborious. Having said that, I'm not at my best in the morning either ! lol

early morning and late evening. early morning is the worst . when I need to go to work

at the moment someone kindly has passed their virus/cold onto me and I am suffering

and this weather . oh well on wards and upwards :-)

Yes me too..Evenings are worse..I put it down to the end of the day tiredness..

I feel more breathless in the evenings but I too just put it down to tiredness and this silly feeling I've used up my lung and air quota for the day! ;-)

Yes me too. I am ok in the morning but as soon as I eat I get more breathless so afternoons and evenings are not good for me either.

I agree. I find that an hours kip around 6pm helps me to carry on for the evening. x

Yes thank you for posting this Carole at about 5pm is when I remember I've got copd its when I start hyperventilating and thats only with the prospect of the after dinner dishes to be done something I could breeze through a year ago. I sometimes have an extra spiriva at that time as I'm taking advantage of one nurse's advice who said, when asked, we would expect you to take this particular inhaler twice a day. Have a great lunch and a happy birthday, I'm guessing that's in October from your Avatar.

My lovely husband bought us a dishwasher before he retired. Yes it is in October. Will have to ask about second puff of spireva as I only take it in the morning. Thankyou for your good wishes.

One dose lasts 24 hours Carole. The Spiriva website - spiriva.com/ - describes it as "the only once-daily inhaled maintenance prescription treatment for COPD"

Happy Birthday if i dont get too say it Carole..Have a lovely day..x
