Hi Everyone

I hope everyone is feeling ok today - the weather up here in Liverpool is rainy!

There have been many queries regarding the legalities of carrying oxygen in the car.

I have spoken to the Department of Transport (DoT) who have said there is no legal obligation for a car driver to display a sticker showing they are carrying oxygen for personal reasons.

They advise informing the car insurers.

I hope that makes things a little clearer. The Telephone number for the DoT Helpdesk •0300 330 3000

Best Wishes

Jo

Hi Jo more confused now after reading the question blf.healthunlocked.com/ques... only informed insurance for car and the fire brigade when they do a free risk check for disabled as well as elderly. Only problem it has ever been is some taxi drivers say they can not carry oxygen in our own car is not checked on by anybody.
