DLA is not a right because you suffer for a disability. It is of two components. A mobility ,component if you have difficulty getting around. Such as severe shortness of breath or brittle bone disease. If you have have no physical reason you cannot walk with ease for 100 yards you will not get it. The other component, and even I do not claim that even though I may qualify, is if you need care such as help getting into the bath, or help with dressing, going to the toilet, cooking, or for your general safety.I very much doubt that you will qualify for any of this. And aneurysm is a weakness of a blood vessel, but is not considered a disability. The only way you have a right to DLA is if you have mobility difficulties!!!! Bear in mind that your claim will be investigated. That specialists and doctors reports will be asked for and test reports asked for, as well as a list of all medicines you are taking for your illness. It is not a case of filling in a form and you get it. Taking in most cases a year or more to be approved.

Sorry, I missed a word out - 'probably' - as in '...probably wouldn't get...'. It went through my head as saying that, I just didn't type it that way.
