I have to admit to feeling the same .... and the inhaler is ...in ...out ...in ..out .. shake it all about. Would be with out, can do so much more. Take care. Marilyn x

I don't even try to mow a lawn! Vacuuming does me in. Love my inhalers...x

I have the same problem! However since reading LOTS about COPD I now wear a face mask when I cut the grass - I find this helps. Not with initial breathlessness but with residue from breathing in dust from soil. I might look an idiot but who cares if it helps!!!

Hi Mick - have you tried your local handyman charities/age concern who usually know of people who will cut the grass for you. Sue

It's really good that you're keeping your activity levels up but dont be afraid to ask for some support to do this : request a referral to Pulmonary Rehabilitation or see if there's a specialist respiratory instructor in your area, to learn how to exercise safely.

Use the BLF Postcode search to see if there's a respiratory instructor in your area.

Hi KatiePeters, i hope this helps, if you could use your Blue inhaler before you do anything that makes you out of breath especially mowing the lawn, this will make sure your lungs are at there very best so you can do the activity. You may still need it afterwards, but at lease your lungs will be opened before you start.

The Blue inhalers take about 5 mins to work and can last upto 4 hours.

Hope this helps, i am a pharmacy technician that works in the community supporting patients with COPD.

Good luck and kind regards ScottyClaret x
