hi everyone just been reading all your blogs its terrible what you are having to deal with its disgusting as if you dont have enough to go thro with your illness you dont need people telling you that you dont need help they are stupid but i hope everything works out for you as for me well i feel really bad at minute breathing /loads rubbish /pains in my chest i think are from the pleuracy and now i cant eat unless its ssomething soft like yoghurt moose rice pudding that sort of thing because i keep vomitting i just feel so ill but i am trying to push myself along hoping it will go away oh well i can but dream ey lol but you all take care now and you persist to get whatever you need its your right jan xx

hi valm yes i probly should but iv fetched gp in for this a few times and they keep saying its from the pleuracy so theyv got me believing it myself now but thank you very much appreciated
Noah, how kind of you to be thinking of other's trials when you're feeling so down yourself. Is there any way you could make an appointment with another doctor at your surgery and make it clear that you want to discuss the way you are feeling at the moment and the fact that no progress is being made with the particular problem you're experiencing at the moment ?
In the meantime, I wish you well and hope that you are feeling much better very soon 
hi elian i always think of others because i know what you are going thro and when i see there are people struggling on here to get help and the replies they get i think its terrible as for my surgery none of the gps are any different they all say same thing i cant go to the surgery as i.m housebound so they have to come to me but because i suffer depression and am on tablets for it then you are automaticaly deamed to imagine a lot which is absolutely ridiculous my doctor i see for depression is quite happy its under control so these gps get on my nerves iv sufferd for long time with really bad coughing bouts and passing out but it took a real bad time my husband phoned for ambulance who took me instantly to hospital where i found i have copd emphasyma and i was ill with pneumonia and pleuracy and i imagined it all according to gp but the hospital had a go at them but pain in my chest is pleuracy they say lol so i just struggle on you take care now xxx thank you for answering me xxx

I'm just debating putting a copy of noah's blog in with my DLA appeal: "...you persist to get whatever you need its your right..." - too true!
Lets hope your pleurisy gets the proper treatment Jan, and that you get beyond rice pudding. Can't think of much worse stuff to be stuck with, but can appreciate the reasons why.

perhaps an xray is in order to check all is as good as can be. Pleurisy shouldn't be left - it needs to be dealt with. x

Ahhh noah I agree the medical profession dont as a rule care about us. Specially us who suffer with depression as well as lung problems. I have found that out. Im also a middle aged woman so its its even worse - male doctors tend to think you make things up to get attention! I know what I want to put on my gravestone - I told you I was ill.

HI HYPERCAT YOU ARE SOOOO RIGHT THEY JUST DONT WANT TO KNOW THE LAST TIME I SAW MY DOCTOR FOR DEPRESSION WAS SEPTEMBER LAST YEAR AND HE TOLD ME I WAS DOING VERY WELL BUT I HAVE TO HAVE MY MEDS FOR IT EVERYDAY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAS ME ON CITALOPRAM 60MG AND I HAVE SERAQUEL BECAUSE I WAS HAVING NIGHTMARES BUT I.M FINE NOW I HAVE MY DOWN DAYS AS NO DOUBT DO YOU BUT YOU JUST TRY TO MUDDLE ALONG EY I.M 66YRS OLD NOW BUT NOW GETTING TO TERMS WITH MY COPD/EMPHASYMA WE JUST GET ON WITH IT DONT WE AND WE KNOW THERES OTHERS ON HERE THAT ARE ALSO GOING THRO WHAT WE ARE BLESS THEM ALL SO YOU TAKE CARE NOW XXXXXXX
