Hi would just like to say thanks to the very helpfull BLF Nurse who contacted me today.

She explained the results to me (Mild Emphysima). She also gave me fantstic advice on what to discuss with my doctor (this Friday). Well keep safe everyone-stay off the cigs and look after the insides of the body.

I'm pleased to hear that you've been given some good information and, hopefully, some peace of mind. Doctors seem to assume that we know what all the figures mean when they do tests, at least you are on a better footing to speak with him now.

Good luck with the dr on Fri David. Write the points down and be persistent if necessary. He needs to realise you expect him to help you in actively managing your condition in order to stay as mild as possible
