Thanks to everyone who answered my question. My husband does use liquid morphine which helps him with the pain when coughing. If anyone suffers with a blocked nose - try sterimar (isotonic) from your pharmacist. It is about £5 for a 100ml bottle, but it clears nasal congestion straight away. It allows Graham to take more of his oxygen. Thank you for the info about Jut-U-Sin Syrup - we will check first as he is on warfarin. We are going to see a homeopathy consultant on the 16th August in Bedford - been waiting since October for a consultation - but she is supposed to be excellent. Will let you know how we get on.
