Morning Dane, I live right next to Fields, ( corn: potatoes: ) and feel lucky that it hasnt affected me. The only time I notice it is when the farmer is out there cutting, and we've had a dry spell. No chance of that this year Everyone I know seems to have different triggers that enrage COPD. Mine is Perfume or Aftershave I physically choke at the slightest whiff . Anyway have a good day Breath Easy !!

hi thank you, we live in Denmark, and we are surrounded by fields and sea, the nurse once told my husband, when he had an exray, its the worst place to live, due to dampness at times. The farmer was out there last fri. doing the clover field, and my goodness the dust!!

still no chance today, as it was raining in the night.

have a good day

I would have thought the sea and fields would be ideal. Obviously not! Dust is a bad thing for copd, and I am the same as splinky any perfume, polish,or spray............paint nearly killed me lol, so Dane hard to find the ideal setting I suppose. As long as the damp isnt in you house thats the main thing, and stay indoors when the farmer is cutting, thats all I can suggest. apart from that it sounds lovely.

hi would rather have fields than traffic pollution but this is different for each one of us having different triggers, just finding the best environment for your condition dane is really the simple answer.

hi all.Ingy ! My good lady tried a spot of painting, while I was at a meeting. The Lounge to this day has strange different tones on the walls. Yes paint is a big NO NO. I totally agree with lucky heather, I would hate to live next to a main road. I hope Dane that you find some comfort , take care all of you.

hello all i find cigarete fumes out side of supermarket doors diesl firms paint and any perfume,

but i live in the country side and always have, but over the last few years i have found my breathing gets worse when i get to the door to go out i think it is a bit like agraphobia, and i think this has something to do with the stress caused when walking this usualy occours when outside, specialist thought the same, so i take a very small dose of lorazipam when i get the problem, stress is a major cause of breathing difficulties for me,

best of luck
