My gym membership has arrived!

Having discussed it with my consultant, dietician, GP and respiratory physio I am off down the gym!

I never ever thought this day would come. Almost looking forward to it, apart from the induction!

Wish me luck although i think the exercise bike will need it more! ;-)

Sounds really great Marie,

And I'm jealous as I have not arranged anything yet.

Good news Marie, I'm sure you will enjoy & feel the benifits of it :-)

Thanks everyone. its going to be 'interesting'. I already do some walking and swimming but the weather has really prevented a great deal of walking apart from this weekend where i did far more than usual whilst camping - my word my legs are telling me I walked a lot! However going to the gym should allow me to exercise whatever the weather. I feel very motivated at the moment so we will see!

I certainly hope all goes well for you,and that you enjoy the gym.

However I used to go to the gym twice a week but it turned out it was a super

place to pick up germs and chest infections.

I was advised to give it a miss for a while, and I must say I think it has worked out.

Not to be beaten, I bought myself a set of Pedals for home use so I could still do some exercise.

My ultimate would be a Treadmil at home, but finding somewhere to put it is a problem as we live in a bungalo, maybe one day?

Thanks. It's a gym at work so the fees are very low.
