The £1.24 is the 'hook'. Many half suspicious people would think ah well, not much to lose and then hand over all of their bankcard details.

Most definitely a scam. Why would tge NHS charge when they've been sending out thousand apologies thousand boxes of Lateral Flow Test kits for free.

Do you have the energy to report it?

Definitely a scam. LFT are free and easily available to all. Also no such thing as specific Omicron test!!

This has just been mentioned on Watchdog on BBC1 where they said it's definitely a scam.

Definitely a scam. There is no specific test for omicron, they are still using the standard PCR test. They get your card information when you pay the p&p and then they go on a shopping spree at your expense😁

Thank you for sharing the info. There are too many scams these days ☹️

Yes I have and I deleted it!

I had a scam call about life insurance and well and hung the phone up on them!

All test kits including home test kits are free from the NHS. Treat anything that requires payment as a scam. Remember you do not need a specific test kit for testing for variants. Genomic testing for variants is automatically carried out in 50% of cases by the government so do not be tempted.

definitly a scam warned about this yesterday

Yes it is a scam. I had the message and decided to delete it, then I heard it mentioned on the t.v when they were talking about the variant. They said no test you can do will show it. They also said NHS will never ask for bank details.

I treat every letter, email, phone call and Facebook ad as a scam.

Same , I’ve slammed phone down on a genuine doctor before now 🤦🏻‍♀️ , delete at least 50% of Emails without opening and would never dream of buying anything unless I know the company or am able to pay through PayPal . If I don’t know someone, I don’t trust them , very sad but unfortunately it’s the way of the world now 🥲

I don't know about the U.K. but in Japan you can request that your phone number is not published in the telephone directory. My house is also not visible on Google Street view. We have a lot of scams here too. Especially targeting the elderly. These scammers are despicable. 😠

No, but its another scam i realy hate thies people taking advantage of vunrable people and peoples fears, omicron is a strain of covid so normal covid test should work just as well on it. As they used to say keep em peeld 👀
