Hi to all of Carolina’s(Hacienda) friends. My name is Carlene(Kayro). I’m Carolina’s daughter, and I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your heart warming messages. I’ve read everyone of your messages out to my eldest daughter and we are both in tears. My Mum has talked a lot to me about BLF and all her friends on here. We are so thankful that my Mum was so special to all of you and to me it means so much that she was an inspiration to so many of you. We are still in shock as just recently we were talking about how to come to the UK to spend time with my Mum. She was a one in a million special lady and the hole in our hearts will never be filled. Dear CarleneYou truly are your mothers daughter to be thinking of others at this terribly sad time.

I was one of many, many folk who were inspired by, encouraged by and touched by your mum. She was so respected, admired and loved by all of us here.

She truly was “ one on a million.”

Just know, with certainty, that the love your mum gave you will sustain you all in the days and years to come.

I am struggling to find words to express my feelings, so I will simply share this poem with you as I feel it is very apt:

Thank you for taking the time to send us a message. Carolina was a truly selfless , generous person . She always mentioned her love of her family. ( and Wassap) I loved speaking to your Mum on Zoom.How sad this Covid has made it such a long time apart for you all. Carolina loved talking about her family, the weddings the babies and little ones, supplying lovely pictures of you all . Almost as if you were part of our little family. She was also so very grateful for the care she received from carers, doctors etc and always had hope and determination.

I feel very sad for all of you for such a great loss. Sincere condolences to Colin( her rock) and all the family including her little wassap munchkins. Love Christi
