Really out of breath every day

I copd and I am not managing to get up and down the stairs who can help me get a move Edinburgh council.

Have you approached your local council with maybe having a stairlift put in. Love my chair I feel more independent able to do things for myself I had always had to rely on hubby to get me things from upstairs.

If you go to Edinburgh Council website and look for Adult Care or Care in the community you may well find who is best to contact.

Contact your local social work department ask to have an assessment of your needs, usually equipment to help with getting around your home, sometimes Social work occupational practitioners can refer you on to adaptive housing depending on your needs, your GP can support you with this too, respiratory consultant can also send a letter to social work.Good luck, take care.

Perhaps one of your local Councillors could help. Some are very good.
