Welcome to the forum elsieboo. You should get a letter from Matt Hancock if you are considered clinically extremely vulnerable. It's best to be cautious anyway. xx

ive only just had all the tests and don't think im on the system but I have requested them to send me a letter via nhs website

I think at the moment, only tier 4 are shielded, so if that’s you, then maybe you could ask your GP.

With damaged lungs shield as much as you can at this time, but check your tier for further information. Tier 4 and 3 information here: bbc.co.uk/news/explainers-5...

All those in tier 4 who should be shielding should have had a text message, email and a letter, these are being sent out within a few days of going into 4. If you haven’t had one and think you should have check with your GP as the letter does give access to super market priority delivery slots if you need one
