Our eldest son (police officer) is feeling poorly so has taken a covid test again and should hear within 48 hours. I’m praying he’s not picked up the new variant. Police should get the vaccine as a priority I feel.

Oh Carol fingers crossed that its something and nothing bless you it's such a mess this world...My son and daughter are being tested twice weekly due to working in hospitals theatres...all keyworkers should be tested regularly police ambulance etc

Oh Carol it's getting no better, I went for chemo yesterday and the nurses have not been offered the vaccine either. I was so sorry for them working so hard with sick patients then going home to families that I sent a Gmail to boris and matt. Dont suppose I'll get a reply ..but I felt better 😆. I agree Jane. It’s all such a worry. I’m hopeful things will be fine. Thinking of you and what you’re going through. Key workers all need protection and should have the vaccine now.

Hope your Son is Negative Carole. My Son also Police, has had Covid Tests, often, another recently as he has been in Hospital with a Kidney Infection, Trust all those Cold night Shifts to protect Joe Public. He is Back at Work on Desk Duty while he is on AB's. He won't let the Force Down. Much Love to You Carole & Pete & your Son & family. And All The Boys & Girls in Blue. xxx 💙💙💙

My Son Just Phoned me, to wish me HNY. He is on Nights. London last Night , Huge Party Happening, they were all given Tickets by the Police (Fines). They never Learn do they, it is up to the Courts to chase the Payments, doesn't seem to be Happening. So, I wished him HNY and to stay safe. Happy New Year to You & Pete & Family. I wish your son well on nights, he’s doing a great job. My sons back on an early shift on Sunday. I think he’s feeling better so hoping the test will be negative. Better to be safe than sorry though.

People behave very badly and I hope all emergency service workers stay safe. Happy new year to you and your lovely family Carolina. Glad some can be together in Spain.
