Hello everyone and hope you are all in good spirits and smiling.

Those of you who have Netflix may have heard of this series of 4 documentaries. One of which involves removing blood clots from the lung - transforming the life of the patient who could barely breathe he had such severe pulmonary restriction . The others are foetal surgery with laser , brain surgery and heart surgery. They are amazing programmes centering on the surgeons themselves, their journey to becoming world specialists, and the commitment they have to improvement in access to health care. The series was produced by the BBC Science Unit.

Watched all four now and loved how they featured the backgrounds and inspirations of the four surgeons.
