Unfortunately on 19/11/2020, I lost my wife of 54 years to a GBM4 brain tumour.
Up until the last four months of her life, and for quite sometime, Margaret had been my carer, because of my own condition. The tables quickly turned. I have only just now found the time and courage to share this here.

My heart is full of sadness for you. To loose your wonderful wife and life partner at any time is so sad but during these difficult times it’s seems even more cruel. Hope you have love and support needed right now x
Most of us on this site have "lung" problems, either personally or within the family and it is easy to forget the other medical problems out there. I knew virtually nothing about cancer until a few years ago when my brother-in-law and former business partner was diagnosed with mesothelioma. 2 years later, aged only 51, my nephew dies after a glioblastoma took over his brain, and at same time other B-in-L liver cancer. 3 family losses out of the blue. Best wishes to all for end of year festivities and a safe and healthy new year.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your wife barneysbull. Its obviously difficult coming to terms with it all at present I do hope you have family or friends to help and support you. I'm really sorry. Words are never enough. Try to look after yourself as good as you can and make sure you have a sounding board... on here or in the real world.
The death of your wife must still be very raw for you Barry. My condolences to you and your family. No words I can say that will make you feel better. Except be gentle with yourself and regret nothing. Her love will always be there in your heart.
