I love that idea Blackbird and will keep it for next years Halloween.. I'm in lockkdown in Wales so won't expect any children tonight. My daughter dresses up the outside of her cottage every year and the children look forward to seeing it. Not this year though unfortunately.

What a great idea. Love the pumpkin . No children calling last night just an evening of very loud bangs ! As their elders celebrated Sat night before the lock down.. Someone living nearby has addiction to exceptionally loud fireworks. Probably get it all again next Sat night

How long did your lollipops last ? I like that idea in a village but we are a very large village now with new estates . Had a brilliant display last year in field acrss the road. So i sat in window with camera and watched that. Its the industrial strength ones that worry me . Sure they are acquired illegally . ? local quarry !

Have you tried taking photos of the fireworks . I did not have much success with mine.

They lasted till gone 8 pm then I pinched a few back for us ...

We are one high st with a few shops ...cafes garden centre etc nothing major

One pub/hotel ...one very old car showroom

Ponies cows donkey swans ducks are heavy traffic 😂

I havent taken pics as yet..

It's nice to sit and watch them going off from a window 💙💜
