Being sick bringing up sticky phlegm (IPF)

I have IPF, over the past 4 weeks I have been wrenching/coughing most mornings and bringing up white sticky/bubbly phlegm from my stomach, which I've had before. Could do with advice or tips on what to do as this is getting me down.

I used to be sick most morning for ages, I think my chesty cough set me off.

A bit like pregnancy morning sickness, sometimes a dry biscuit first thing helped.

But I have asthma/COPD.

Thanks, I can never get through to anyone at hospital so I'll have a chat with BLF

Talk to your GP. Do sips of water help?

Thanks, been drinking more water so I don't dehydrate
