It was very quiet but chilly this morning had a flask of tea and a croissant for brekky while watching 🧡

Wish I was there. Now I'm thinking...... Its a lovely day except its quite cold so I'm going to take a flask of coffee and take the car to a local beauty spot. I shall take a brisk walk along the sea front then return to the car for a hot drink while enjoying a beautiful view.

Not yet, but now that lockdown is hovering on the horizon it looks very likely.

Actually, just recently a small group of us friends have formed a walking group and have been taking advantage of the remaining good weather. We are covering 3 mile walks at the moment and hope to build up to more. Hopefully we will still be able to enjoy walking in the near future as we live in the country with lots of different walks and public foot paths on our doorstep. Its good exercise and good for our well being.

That sounds nice walking with your friends! I could certainly do with upping my exercise level! I live in a village with the New Forest 🌳 and coast on my door step so have no excuses not to get walking more!

I have been doing some arty crafty stuff though...in fact my friend has just been and we’ve just been doing crazy while having a good natter.

🎃🎃🎃 I'm helping my daughter (aged 53) to make Jack o Lanterns at the moment. She always make a big thing of celebrating Halloween each year.. She dresses up as a witch and the outside of her cottage is decorated in a very spooky way. It looks amazing. The local children in the village always dress up and look forward to calling with their parents for Trick or Treats. I dont know if it will be allowed this year though.

I know not everyone likes Halloween but its become customery for the villagers in our village to display a jack o lantern in their window if they are happy for the children to call on them. If there isnt one displayed the children respect this and don't knock. This works well in our village and keeps everyone happy.
