Hi everyone have had COPD for 10yrs had a lot of infections this year recently have no appetite feel sick and stomach feels yucky no pain Doctor said it’s the steroids and gave me omeprazole but isn’t helping anyone else had this I am not convinced it’s the steroids would appreciate your Advice thanks .

R u talking about oral steroids or inhaler steroids?:

oral steroids usually get the munchies, inhaler steroids I've not noticed anything.

anti biotics on the other hand I have found they can make you feel sick in the stomachs and loss of appetite.

If you have lots of infections, I am guessing you will be taking lots of anti biotics. Also excess mucus on the lung will make you feel sick too. Important to try and keep the lungs clear at all times, ACB daily if you experience a lot of mucus daily. Drink plenty of water.

Try and get a sputum sample in for testing before you start the anti biotics next infections. You will need to phone your doctor for a sterile sputum sample pot and he will need to write on the form that goes with it when tested at the hospital what to test for.

Thanks for your answer I meant oral steroids will get spatum test in next infection as had a lot of antibiotics too x
