Coming out of hibernation now.

Hi everyone, I hope you are all ok. I’m sorry I haven’t been in touch but I haven’t felt like talking to anyone. I just feel lethargic. This Covid virus has had an impact on everyone’s life’s. I should be happy as today my oncologist has just rang to say my results from the CT scan is good. It’s still there but not growing up to now.

I just feel weary. Does anyone else feel like this?

It is a very strange time now isn’t it. It’s very tiring not doing much at all. Let’s hope your cancer has stopped growing and doesn’t start again.

I wish you better days ahead and the energy to enjoy them. Take care xxx😘💜

Yup to the fatigue, I think it is living with low levels (or high) of stress for a prolonged period, also the fact that there is no end in sight as yet. I have increased my vitamin supplements and tried to eat more healthily, in the hopes that will help.

Great news for you. I think most people are feeling low and lethargic at the moment with this virus .

Great news! So pleased for you.

As to slow and lethargic, it’s a yes from me. There is a weird quality to this way of inside living, and I feel like a sloth, despite working from home.

As someone said, it’s the long term stress of living with an enemy at the door, potentially a deadly enemy.

It’s taking its toll on everyone.

Hello Angels

I can relate to this too and certain lots of others can as well. I have felt flat and needed to connect with other people so started going out on my own to build my confidence up again as my husband went back to work last week. I still do shopping online and avoid supermarkets and any shops with queues and only go to small local shops. I have a water proof big gazebo in my back garden and this has allowed visits from family and close friends who have been careful.

I dont know what I will do once the weather changes going forward in the winter. I think its good to have a plan as we all need to look after our mental wellbeing. Youve had a difficult journey by the sounds of things and although restrictions are lifting its now that people are starting to feel the impact of the last four months so its natural to feel lethargic as we all navigate the new normals and what coming out of lockdown and shielding has done.

I hope you feel better soon and can connect with some nice friends who can make you smile again.

Lots of love

Janzo 💐

I just have no motivation at all and feel very weary. Angels is right about having a plan going forward, especially as visits in the garden won't be possible.
