Spirometry

Just a quick update.

I went for Spirometry on Friday.

I’d been worried about it,they were alternating using 1 side room and the large room.

Whilst 1 was being cleaned, the other was in use.

Whilst waiting to see the consultant,I was the only person in the waiting room.

To cut a very long story short, the consultant said my lung function had only dropped minimally (0.1 %)

They feel that the candida infection has caused the increased shortness of breathe.

So here’s hoping.

I can’t say I feel much better,but have a little more energy.

He said that they are trying to keep me on a level, but can’t quite get me stable.. Ao. I think. I feel a bit relieved.

Take care everyone.

Hi Oshgosh. Thanks for checking in. At least it wasn't really bad news you got st your appointment. Also, your consultant was able to explain what they are trying to do to help you.

😀

Hello Oshgosh . Very pleased indeed they seem to have figured out the candida is the culprit. Also minimum loss of lung function is excellent. I am very happy for you and hope they can stabilise you soon. I have found the humid , not weather really plays havoc with my spirometry readings. Take good care. Thinking of you.

Totally understand about the weather. Awfully humid here which is extremely uncomfortable especially with mask on. Well for now keep focused on getting a bit stronger before thinking about the gym. Bit by bit is the way forward. We are well thank you Oshgosh . Take good care of yourself. xx ❤️😘
