I love it when somebody finds a way to recycle their stuff and this photo really lifts my spirits.

My daughter has a Henry and Henrietta and has great faith in them. I don't know the difference between them though. Do you?

Xxx

I think it's the eyes and the hettys have lashes ..

I feel mine is a Henry but I have always called it Henrietta dont quote me on that though RR I'm probably wrong in my opinion πŸ’œ

So you have a proper Hetty then ??

I recycle what I can and where I can I have pallete gardens on my fence for herbs and flowers πŸ’œπŸ’œ

Yes I have a Hetty my step granddaughter likes to play with it. She lines it up with the teddies and dolls then she is the teacher!

My son had palette garden furniture it looks great. Cx

Great Idea. She looks just right with the flowers coming out of her Head.

I am going to Charity shops when open, to find old Tea Pots to hang in the Garden for Bird Nesting & Feeding, saw them on a Garden Programme with Charlie Whatshername. Love to recycle. Hmmm, Must go looking, Send hubby to the loft. Ha Ha. C. XXXX

Hi Hacienda

I know Charlie Dimmock has a lot of ideas but they always involve a pond and liners πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

There is a local man to me mounts teapots cups saucers etc on to wooden plaques he paints them all and sells them on for pocket money I have bought a few of him they are lovley one of the pots had a lid broken and then we had blue tits nesting in it ..good luck in your search when they open πŸ™ˆπŸ’œπŸ’œ

Charlie's family used to own a pub called the Rockingham arms in west willow where my sisters live ...

Shes certainly changed through the years from what was the goddess of gardening with old Titsmarch in the 80 s

Seeing her recently on a garden programme makes you wonder where life goes to happens to us all I guess ..

Hopefully you will be able to get out and have a good old root throw and find what your after have a lovley sunny day my day is made up of cleaning the doggo van out for selling on Tuesday and getting a replacement one ..

I washed all the towels yesterday evening and they are still out on the line to lazy to bring them in but they will dry in the sun hate using the drier in this weather πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ

Love it, although for some reason it reminded me of Frankencleaner. One of my daughters dropped the cleaner down the stairs, breaking the handle. My dad repaired it, using metal bolts and thus Frankencleaner was born.

It's strange seeing it in the garden when it was always in the cupboard armed with a hose for use πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Gladwyn profile image
Gladwyn in reply to Blackbird8

What do you think he or she feels like when instead of a hose it has flowers growing out of its head lol. I bet it feels pretty. 😜🌷

I know she will have a good retirement now in the garden sitting in the sun under the shade of the willow tree and can see all the birds and flowers πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
