Excited but Bemused Response

Thank you all for responding.

I am so glad there are people of like mind -

I also believe there are more political and economic reasons behind the ease of lock down than anything that is scientifically based. My tendency is also to look at the National Office of Statistics, as they seem to give clear, unbiased accounts of data.

If I venture out, it will be in an area with no people!

Difficult, as one does not know who may have been present before and also what droplets are being transported in the breeze.

Thanks again. It is always so good to hear from you all.

I feel apprehensive about going out, so have decided just to stay in my garden and get that looking really nice. Have a lovely day and take care of yourself 😊 Bernadette xx xx 🌈

But last night a top medical expert warned it was a “dangerous moment” and advised: “Don’t tear the pants out of it.”

It means people will be able to play some team sports, go running or training together and enjoy fitness sessions.

But, as with those “shielded”, they must stay two metres apart and physical contact is out.

Deputy chief medical officer Professor Jonathan Van-Tam told the daily Downing Street press conference: “This is a dangerous moment.

“We have to get this right. People need to behave responsibly".

Responsibly? After the scenes at Durdle Door yesterday, before any the easing of the lockdown came into play. Thousands should now need to self-isolate after being herded together in close proximity to each other. I have zero faith in our safety. I have zero faith in the 2 metre rule.

I have zero faith in the Gov. who outrageously treat us like children by telling us we are now "allowed to go out", effectively saying we "have been good little children and are no longer grounded" but the 2 metre rule prevents them patting our heads at the same time.
