Hello, am new here.

Have had asthma/bronchitesis for over 73 years and am still going, but was told over the years on different occasions that I would not make it and my daughter was called in to the hospital, but proved them all wrong. Also have degenerative lumbar spondylosis and stenois, osteoarthritis, bursitis and deaf in both ears, but I believe in being positive and life is what you make it.Also diagnosed in 2015 with Sleep Apnoa and Royal Bromptom issued a CPAP machine which wear indeffinitely every night time. Am on the Carbocistein 375mg 8 tablets a day, Montelukast, and the usual steroids and abs when the old lungs flare up, and Fostair inhalers. Get down at times with the lockdown, not being able to see friends and family and hugs, but everyone else is in the same boat and must look forward to the future, as it can only get better. I have a rescued German Shepherd/Rough Collie who has been badly abused and we keep each other company. I lost my dear old Ben in February this year,he was also rescued and he was l5yrs and Maggie misses him a lot. sorry do not know why bold has appeared, not to good with computers, Anyway nice to be on this site.

Hope everyone is keeping free from the Covid 19 and keeping safe.

Will stop waffling now. xx

Have had bronchiectasis for sometime now, we all have to try and keep positive, some days as in life ,are good and some not so good. We have to keep going and hoping for the best. I wish you loads of happiness and always try to think positive, as positive thought brings positive action . Lets hope the sun keeps shining and we wake up each morning.

Take care and stay safe.

Yes, would be lost without my Maggie, I talk to her as if she is human, and I am sure she looks to the ceiling sometimes and thinks she is of again.

Hopefully will get her a companion when this lockdown has gone, as she lost Ben in February he was ill with arthritis and was l5, a big hole in my heart went so Maggie is getting all the love now. Nice to have a reply from you hope we can chat some more. x

That’s what we need is more positivity. Well done for appearing to be jolly and hopeful despite all your health issues. Whilst I accept not everyone can be jolly in my experience if everyone remained positive then their ills might not be so bad.

Take care and good luck for the future!

P.S. We have two rescue dogs as well

Yes, that is very true, but as you say not everyone can be positive, maybe just half of them which is good. Glad you have two rescued dogs, they are a blessing to have, always have rescue dogs. Maggie is my sixth one, each time one dies, I say never again, not going through the heartache again, but as i say Maggie is the sixth and will carry on for as long as I can with having and loving rescue dogs.
