I'm Devastated.

Thank you for the good wishes for Sheila but it is with great sadness to say that she lost her fight to coronavirus. I honestly thought when they moved her from intensive care that she had a chance. They mentioned she could maybe go home next week. I'm Devastated.x

I did not know the dear lady but I found the poem which begins "A limb has fallen from the tree" gave me great comfort when we lost my niece at the age of 57 to cancer. She had fought this illness for at least 10 years.

Unfortunately I cannot remember who wrote it but the words were gentle and kind and a balm to my grief. Please do try and find the poem and I sincerely hope the words give you peace and comfort.
