We have a few hens. Have kept hens for 17 years. Our usual suppliers were out of been food last week and after spending many hours searching the internet I found some hen food on sale on eBay. Slightly more expensive than usual but not the 150% mark up that I found on Amazon.

I would never have thought to look there

Nice one Falcon.

I usually get mine from Fetch.co.uk but they use Ocado to deliver so my other stalwart is Zooplus, prices good. You've made me think I might order another 12k bag.

You're right, there'll be problems getting it in to the country or people may not be able to get to work at UK manufacturers. P

Great thank you nice to have other places to tryx

We have bought our ginger tabby haggis for her dish and also things like offal which you used to give to cats years ago before they had the tinned food.

Good idea I remember Fido meat...mine loves a treat of raw mince when I make Sheppard's pie!

Baby's mate Percy turned her nose up at haggis and spam when I had offered them to her mother as Percy is very particular as she is spoilt but ungracious whereas baby's spoilt but not ungracious!

I tried to use pets at home yesterday and was number 2k plus in the queue I didn’t hang about.

Have now decided to change the cats diet for a while have plenty of biscuits so will add fresh meat to it and hope they will eat it, fussy little whatnots they can be.

Wilko is another option for ordering pet food on-line. They charge £5 for home delivery, but because I also buy wild bird food in bulk from them (much cheaper than Pets at Home) it makes it worthwhile.

I've also been buying their own brand ultra-clumping cat litter, as I'd been experiencing problems getting hold of any from either Sainsbury or Tesco recently. It's half the price I used to pay, but exactly the same quality

I've just remembered Viovet also sell pet foods and just as importantly, vet branded health products. Advantage cat flea treatment is half the price I used to pay in Pets at Home.

They also offer good discounts on prescribed veterinary medication, but you need to provide them with a prescription from your vet to purchase those items.
