NHS Coronavirus Service: Do you know how you will get your medicines while you are staying in your home? You can order repeat prescriptions online via the NHS app or your GP's online services.

Please ask your family, friends or neighbours to pick up your prescriptions from a pharmacy. Just remind them to leave the items outside your door.

The NHS is still here for you - you will still get the care you need, but the way you receive it might change. More will happen over the phone and internet.

NHS Coronavirus Service: Do you live with others? This advice will keep you safer from the virus:

- Sleep separately if you can

- Stay 3 steps away from others at home. Keep away from children

- Only essential carers should visit

- Wash your hands more often for 20 seconds and always before eating. Moisturise if your skin gets dry

- Eat separately, using your own cutlery, dishcloths and towels

- Clean and wipe down surfaces in the kitchen, bathroom and door handles before use

- If you can, use separate bathrooms. If you share a bathroom, use it first and clean between uses

I have a couple of months supply and I can reorder repeats on-line then can arrange for pharmacy to deliver, guess I should allow a 2-3 week waiting list for deliveries at this time.

Have received these too, it’s awful (and strange) being in the same house as my grandchildren but having to distance 😔 although I know it’s for the best. 👍🏻 Positive thoughts people 😉x

All fine but what if you don’t have anyone to collect medicines? I’m dependent on Lloyd’s, who are dreadful. They have an online service called Echo but signing up to it is laborious as you have to fill in every single drug & dosage, you can’t just send them your prescription. Then you have to wait 5-10 working days to hear back. My scrip is very complicated & I don’t trust them to get it right

Same here, I'm starting to feel stalked lol, I'm sure at the end of the next text I will get xxx,s

I just ring my pharmacy, tell them what I need, they take it to GP, collect it (or are faxed it) then deliver it to me. I rang them yesterday so I should get it later this week.

I feel this is unattainable and probably pointless to attempt for a cohabiting couple. I intend to use my discretion. We will mainly remain indoors or in the garden but given my experience of online food ordering this week one of us will have to shop. Apart from anything else I can’t imagine the army delivering our weekly wine order!
