Hi mazi if it wasn’t all so scary and sad. It would be funny will I be on the list I just imagine 1.5 million people searching the list. I definitely should be on the top of the list but I will not be because I self medicate ( no diagnosis). We don’t need to be told we know the score just do everything you possibly can to keep clear of this killer virus my theory is it’s not in this house now so no one in no one out end of. Take care keep safe all xxx

2greys posted research on a triple inhaler. I checked the ingredients and the one that corresponded was Trelegy. It was proven to cut down on exacerbations and actually prolong life in the study.

Yes i saw that thanks

wonder what the cost is compared to other, there are so many different inhalers.

Problem is different people get on better with different inhalers too.

Cost of Trelegy could be ok as it combines 3 inhalers in 1.

I understood the press conference to say severe COPD if your mild or moderate I don’t think you will be n the list that’s how I understood it.

Yes that’s what I understand about shielding my confusion is do I go work or not . X

I cannot help there as I am working from home maybe you may receive a letter this week. It’s hard to walk away from your job when we all need the money. I have moderate COPD and asthma and I wouldn’t feel happy going to work at the moment I’m not even having visitors. This has probably not helped us it worth speaking to your GP.

Yes that’s what I thought about asking gp after I talk to hubby about it and I definitely need clarity about work , we have already asked the kids not to come with grandkids and asked friends not to come until it’s a bit safer x

Have a chat with gp and let your Boss know you are self isolating. He would obviously know your condition. If fairly new to all this have you got your blue badge to help you get about.

No I’m well managed and have been really well at the moment and haven’t needed anything more than medication don’t know if I am mild or moderate I try to do what I can to stay well , mostly, I have a bad time if I get chest infections they tend to wipe me out for a couple of weeks .i don’t have a blue badge or anything and my go surgery is really good and see me pretty quick if I suspect chest infection and I can get rescue meds when I need to x so all in all I am not suffering any where as bad as some people , I think my biggest concern at the moment is anxious about the virus and would I react badly to it .sorry for rambling x

Yes chest infections are horrible.had a really nasty one last June ended up in hospital.but since then had one last November which lasted a week and the same January. Both very mild. Learnt to get on to emergency meds quick.
