Hi

Been trying to get advice as to how effective nebulisers would be in mild to moderate cases of covid19

Anyone ?

No idea maddyo2 but Pete uses his nebuliser twice a day anyway. It would be interesting to know. I also wonder if the pneumonia jab Pete had a few weeks ago will offer some protection. Wait and see I suppose. Xxxx

Thanks for your reply I was using it twice a day until a recent lung volume reduction now it’s if and when needed . I have had both flu and pneumonia jab too I was thinking maybe as the hospitals fill up my nebuliser night buy some time ... over thinking methinks

Yes I wondered if flu and pneumonia job offered some immunity . Hopefully someone may come on and let us know.x

I know they give oxygen therapy to help alleviate the symptoms of c19 so a nebuliser must help in some way, perhaps clearing mucus from the lungs and helping to open the air passages by relaxing the muscles , the government have said they want more respiratory
