What the hell is going on- re this Virus ?… one minuet the Government tells us to " AVOID CROWDED PLACES " , then allows over = 75, 000 people to attend the " CHELTANHAM RACES the other day …- I watched it on tv = COLOSSAL CROWDS - , it is the supreme irony , that reports came in later, via the media , that two people who attended , had in fact been diagnosed = WITH THE VIRUS " … and were clearly more interested in making " Easy money " , than avoiding infecting hundreds ...and still the Government won't follow the other countries in cancelling all monumental public events …=.." NOT JUST YET " …= AS JUST ANNOUNCED A FEW MINUETS AGO ON BBC RADIO 4 NEWS " …….what do they want ? =… all of us who are PRIME TARGETS because of our medical condition , ESPECIALLY the elderly , to SNUFF IT FIRST , ? - to pay for that gigantic " Give away " BUDGET " yesterday .. ? …..- over to you folks, ………. by the way , =…( ok with the toilet rolls ? ) ….!....

I agree vittorio, the football fans from Spain who all came over and had fun will probably be taking the virus back home with them plus may have infected a few others. Great!

Am not planing on going anywhere really but like you I can’t understand logic of it

Unless it’s one them things it’s its better over with quick rather than protracted

Not really sure how I stand I just know gov lie through teeth and this year as been bad for unidentifiable viruses

So with that in mind few times with bugs etc have dodged bullet SO am belief prob already had it and not known WELL apart from symptoms and we all know what it’s like when we go doctors dieing THE say o it’s nout just take paracetamols and if not cleared come back see me.

I think that given set up of country really AND am long time dieased so seen lot resd a lot sufferd a lot

So might well be touch of hysteria after all we don’t generally eat vermin over hear so our immunity bodies won’t be crawling

No i am useless predicting handicaps and hurdle races so i will stick to the flat at Chelmsford this evening though i may have a bet on the 'gold cup' on Friday if they are still running. x

Two more people have died after testing positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of UK deaths to 10. There are now 590 confirmed cases in the UK. The Gov. has to react to this and start to implement the next stage today, anything else would be grossly irresponsible, as it is I can easily see a figure of 1,000 infected being reached over this weekend.

…..Have just heard on BBC news that three Footballers and a Manager have now been diagnosed with the Virus …. slowly common sense is getting through - but at a cost ...

Perhaps football Managers and team members will now become more responsible and not risk spreading it around to their more vulnerable family members and the public at large. As Boris or someone said, we all have to pull together regarding covid, pity some have no concern for those in the higher risk category.

I totally agree ‘The sport of kings’ horse racing goes ahead with huge crowds in the middle of an endemic! Totally irresponsible to allow this.
