Would you be protected from developing pneumonia should you get the corona virus if you have been vacated against pneumonia

I do not believe so as the pneumonia vaccine at present is not 100% effective.

Like the flu vaccination pneumonia vaccination is made up of the most likely strains to catch over a certain period of time. As Corvid 19 is a new one then no, sadly. We must just take extra care.

The pneumonia vaccine is against bacterial strains and not viruses. However, if the virus itself doesn't cause pneumonia, but weakens your immune system such that you might otherwise catch bacterial pneumonia, then the vaccine would reduce that risk.
