From my Irish “girlfriend”...

“How many guitars does a lead guitarist need? Just ONE more...” and here it is! lol

Yes... I know I’m a lucky guy.

Hello Oshgosh ,

I am doing well but at my last hospital visit I was told I have neutropenia (again!) which is an abnormally low concentration of neutrophils, a type of white blood cell in the blood. This is caused by one of the medications I take and it's dangerous because I am so susceptible to illness now. So they have me a shot to stimulate my bone marrow to produce more Neutrophils. But anyway, part and parcel!!

How are things with you? 😁👋

I’m pleased that they are keeping a close watch on you.i hope the treatment is working for you.

I’m not too bad. Myclophenate seems to be working .bloods ok up to now.im just having problems getting my steroids down.

Before I had the virus at new year,I was on 7. Was put up to 30.

Have reduced to 9 ,no problem.struggling on 8,so ILD nurse has advised 9 mgm for 2 weeks, then try again to wean down..

I don’t know about you,but I am worried about the coronavirus?i don’t go out in crowds, but it still concerns me,

Look after yourself

Yes, we are at greater risks. Avoid crowds at all cost.

Go slow on the steroid reduction Oshgosh , it's one of those things that can't be rushed. Yes, I'm worried about the virus. But I have to go out for hospital visits etc. all involving public transport. 😞 Also next week my daughter and I are going to see CATS 🐱 the musical. She's moving out in a month and it is in our "to do" list before she leaves home. I am pretty worried about that to be honest. xx 🙋

That sounds like a wonderful time to spend with your daughter. Difficult decision, I know. If you don't have to use public transport, I'd say go by all means.

Have taken the magic 9 mgm this morning.so hoping for great things!

I hope you are ok,going out and about.enjoy the time with your daughter. Enjoy Cats

I can’t do big venues at present as if it gets too hot,I get really breathless, but perhaps in the future I’ll be able to go to venues again.

Take care

Can I ask you a very random question? What is a Minor 9th chord? Apparently it's known as the James Bond note and features at the end of all James Bond theme songs since 1962 (I think?) Maybe the easiest way for me to answer my own question would be to listen to all the James Bond songs! 🤨

I found you a Minor reply to your question HH

That is a minor 9th chord (and minor 11th chord as well)...but that’s not the ending James Bond chord. I’ll post video later today with explanation.

I hope this link works, HHP and skischool. The laptop doesn't record well...but it's ok.

I wanted to say more but a friend rang and a long conversation ensued, and tired me out. You know how it feels I'm sure. At any rate, the James Bond Theme ends on a Emi-Maj9 chord, which is an Emi9 with a D# (the major 7th interval added), Bernard Herrmann used the arpeggiated min-Maj7th chord when he scored the music for Alfred Hitchcock's movie "Vertigo". Lots of tension in these chords. Some people play a B7 for the ending chord of the James Bond Theme and that sounds good as well.
