Hello,

My mother 80 has hard Fibrosis so that her doctor advised me to look after her in home using oxygen terapy.

Also, her doctor indicated that she has no chance for continuing her life.

considering these conditions , please let me know about all action we can do for her treatment.

Hi Sam,

I'm sorry to read about your mum. Have they given her any medication at all? I don't have PF, but I am sure there are others that can help you with your question. Take care.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother. It is very hard to face suffering in those we love. Have you been in contact with your local hospice? They offer a lot of support. Their teams make home visits and are excellent with practical help and advice for those with breathing problems.

I am not sure what 'hard" fibrosis means. Does it mean that she has had fibrosis that progressed and got out of hand before it was discovered? It sounds as if the Doctor has given up on helping her. Has he/she given up on her due to your mothers age, or has he/she given up on her due strictly to her condition? J

Thank you very much for your reply.as you indicated my mothers age is 80, and her doctor has given up on helping her due to scarring her lungs so that oxygen can't pass through her lungs.

Now , she is in a hospital in ICU section .

I am wondering that her doctor 40 days ago told me that she has Fibrosis while yesterday he told me that all her problems is related to her heart.

Fibrosis in the lungs often leads to serious heart problems. Very sorry about your mother's condition. Prayers that she will receive treatment, and will feel better soon. Your care for her is very dear. J

Praying for both you and your Mother. She will appreciate the support you are giving her. ICU can be a very lonely place for a patient, so your visits will help her a lot.
