Hi I've just been told today I have C.O.P.D. as I was not surprised as I was getting breathless doing things,I gave up smoking about 3 weeks ago (a bit unsure as I never wrote it down) I know I just needed to stop.

The nurse said it was good that I had given up and did help myself by doing this,I was given ANORO ELLIPTA to be taken once a day but also SALBUTAMOL if I REALLY needed.My partner also has C.O.P.D. so knows more about it than me.

Hi if it is offered please do Pulmonary Rehabilitation.If it isnt offered please ask about it. It will really help you. It combines exercise with advice on medication and useful hints on things that can help.
