I was given Anoro Elipta and Flixotide about 2 weeks ago by a new GP as my COPD had gone from Mild to Moderate. The nurse had not said anything when I had my spirometry. Does anyone know if you are supposed to feel your lungs opening up when you use your inhaler?, I have never noticed, and I have been on various in the last 5 years but my daughter in law thought I should. Also, I have not noticed any change is that normal or should I wait awhile

If you are worried please talk to your GP or nurse, they will explain things to you and put your mind at ease. Have a lovely day and take care of yourself 😊 Bernadette xx
With inhalers intended to prevent flare ups it's hard to notice "change" unlike when you take a reliever. The effect should be almost immediate.
