seretide and spiriva are keeping me awake
Yes but i think you may be using them wrong they are long acting bronkl dilaters and are used as a preventor so you should be taking them daily and your ventolin as you get more out of breath as a rescue. I think you should have a chat with your gp. As for the sleeplessness that should get better as you get used to the steroid inhalers always take them in the morning then early evening 12 hours later
I have the same 3 inhalers as you but I agree with corriena that I think you're using them incorrectly, at least from how I was told to use them, which is to take the seretide and spiriva daily and the ventolin as and when needed. Spiriva doesn't contain any steroids, it's the seretide that does. I like corriena's advice to take it 12 hours later, I've been taking it at bedtime and I too don't sleep well. I'll try to remember taking it early evening and see if that helps.
But seretide and spiriva are both designed to be taken on a regular daily basis, they don't give instant relief if you're not feeling well. Maybe you can talk with your doctor or pharmacist and get advice about this. Good luck 🤞
Agree with Corriedale and HungryHufflepuff but would just add that the preventer inhalers you are using are just two of the scores available, and if the side effects are too troubling, then you could ask to try an alternative.
