Unless his nipped off to the pub

But I've been running late
I missed him all of last year

Good morning Mr.D and Midge and keep an eye out for that very Grim Reaper!! No way need he think for one tiny second, that he is contemplating an enormous upset on our site here ..... without our Mr.D & Midge for our daily rhymes,well life would not be the same. I think the Grim Reaper (and isn't he grim as in G.R.I.M. ....i mean he hardly greets you with a welcoming smile does he?).
Dont you worry Mr .D. because Midge has your back and everyone here would notice by 1030am if you've not posted a rhyme, that something is a miss and we will find you and bring you back, safely to where you are very much needed!!👍💖🐿x

Re your hernia Don,, Tony's doctor didn't approve of them, have you heard this?
There are many different types of hernia, mine is abdominal and I hoped to have it fixed by keyhole surgery but they wouldn’t/couldn’t do that. It’s not a big problem.
I had one fixed Cap'n, just a little plastic patch (I assume) holds what needed to be held in place in the appropriate area - No biggie

In Japan there are eight special birthdays celebrated between (and including) the 60th and 100th years. The 88th year (beiju,米寿). This is the character for rice 米, it means wealth, and much wholesomeness.
Your next special birthday will be your 90th (Sotsuju卒寿). Then your 99th year (hakuju,白寿) and following that your 100th year, (hyakuga 百賀). So you see you have not completed your cycle yet, and therefore cannot be taken by the reaper, though Midge is to be much praised for her efforts!
