BYPASS HEART SURGERY

Had bypass heart surgery 10 months ago, since then I haven't smoked. I have terrible shortness of breath since then. I thought maybe its due to the fact that I stopped smoking. I am now wondering if it could be due to the surgery. I went to my doctor and they informed me that my lungs went from 49% to 70%, but doctor gave no reason why I am so short of breath.

so sorry you are not getting any answers, it may be worth visiting your gp again.

I have been to lung specialist twice, 3 cardiology doctors and my gp 3 times.....None of them have given me an answer

Hi, I wonder if you might get more answers if you post on the British Heart Foundation forum.
