Travel from here is very complicated and expensive. I go to visit my brother in Scandinavia from time to time which could hardly be more of a contrast! π²π²π²π²β¨

I would love to see Scandinavia somewhere I have often thought of going..ππ
The nearest UK mainland is Scotland though we're closer to the Arctic circle than southern Norway is. Getting to the mainland requires either three ferries or two flights or a combination of the above. It takes longer (and costs more) to get to and from the mainland than between mainland Scotland and the north of Norway.
Wow I didn't realise it would be that much travel involved I'm thinking a ferry caledonian macbrayne not several ferries and planes and travel time included.

Nope, raining and forecast to continue all day but no risk of flooding unlike the midland areas of England who are struggling so much.
Oh I know the flooding has been bad for everyone . We have terrible storms that can bring the trees down overnight blocking the roads its mother nature biting us back I feel ππ
