flu jab

I had my flu jab over a week ago then developed a tickly cough, breathlessness on exertion ( more than usual) and still don't feel 100%

Has anyone else had a reaction after the flu jab?

I had the under 65 flu jab and was a bit achy, had a headache on and off for about 24 hours. was fine after that. Better than having the side affects of flu!

When I went for my jab the nurse told me there could be a few side effects this year as there was an extra something added to the mix. She was right, I felt unwell with a nagging headache lasting 48 hours. As I expected some side effects I wasnt worried. Nothing major though and at least I'm protected now.

I'm afraid the flu jab''s protection from several flu bugs takes a couple of weeks to kick in. Unfortunately you might have picked up another virus, or perhaps it's a side effect which will go soon

Take loads of vitamin c if you can tolerate it to help your immune system fight any bugs. P

Hi my only side effects was a sore arm like last year. I had mine in October very pleased to be protected as I work with children.

Yes it's such a relief to have some protection isn't it. I was lucky enough to get mind in October too. My GP says December and January are the worst flu months . P

Think affects people in different ways I had a but of arm swelling

I felt like a cold was trying to take hold for a week or so after the jab. Fine now.

Ached all over for 24hrs & headachey too. No problems with breathing so like others have said you may have a cold etc. Hope you feel better soon

It may be egg that they grow the bugs in?

I felt a bit as if I was going down with a cold for a few days, a bit tired and achy. It didn't last long
