Very good news Thomac . 😊👋

The wait can be difficult and for some very long. Are you in any support groups? I hope he stays well during the wait, especially during the flu season. Please be very careful as if he catches anything they won't be able to operate even if they have viable lungs. Sending very best wishes to you both.

Thanks Caspisna good advice. I am on several Facebook groups, I think you may be on one of them as well, and the hospital he is attending charity group. These groups and BLF have been invaluable sources of info. Chris goes to weekly PR and monthly breatheasy groups which is also so helpful. He also has a wonderful respiratory consultant who is happy to see him at anytime he needs we are blessed with support. Yes I am worried about him catching something even more so now, he is increasingly tired so going out less though which although not good minimises his exposure. How is your recovery going?

This is very good Thomac . It sounds like you are both in good hands, so very important. I am doing well thank you. I have an increased lung function of over 40% which is pretty spectacular considering I had a single lung transplant and my left lung is very weak. Of course there are bumps but it's part and parcel of transplant life . I will enjoy this while I can. xx 😊

No problem Oshgosh . My autocorrect has a mind of it's own and often changes my words even if they are correct to begin with. 😳 I am doing well thank you for asking. xx 👋

Great News Hun, I'm one of those that was on the List for a Long Time with QE Birmingham, I am still on their Forum and have lots of Friends there as with Freeman. I hope he is not waiting too long, I recall one of our Members, had a Double transplant after waiting only 1 week. The Best advise is from Caspiana, being so recent a Recipient herself. Lots of love to you Both. XXX C.
