can anyone tell me if the dry heat in a sauna or the steam room will help or harm my COPD , I think I'm moderate

It's not a case of doing harm in that sense but for some it can cause breathing problems when you are in there. It did for me but you can only try it and see x

Speaking from my own experience and being a COPD sufferer, on a recent visit to Bosworth Hall in Leicestershire I tried both the steam room and the sauna. The steam room was a definite no-no and , in effect, exacerbated my condition. The sauna however suited my condition to a 'T' and I will certainly be going for more saunas' in the future.

Hi 😊I use the dry sauna only, but for about 6 minutes, cool water shower, 10 minutes rest and back in again 3 times, it helps me, or does me good, but no steam room, that's very damp😕I don't think it's good for COPD sufferers, but each his own👍😊
