I've been writing poems on here
For three full years or more
Some are really brilliant
Most are rather poor
Some disclose my mental state
Which perhaps I shouldn't do
I wonder, "Are all my chairs at home?"
And so must most of you
But if they entertain you
I don't care any more
Who are those white-coated people
Banging on my door?
Here's to many more years of your poems. I look forward to seeing them, and my heart always sinks a little if I come here and find you haven't posted a new rhyme for us. Thank you for the difference you make to my day 😊

For those embarrassing occasions when in company we suddenly laugh out loud
Because we remembered one of Don's silly poems we once read on this cloud

Is it only 3 years you held the title of 👑 King of Rhymes? In my humble opinion,you give us such a giggle and often real belly ache through laughing at your sense of humour😂. Please keep doing what you do so well and just look at all the wonderful comments you get and also all the "likes"!!

Oh Don. Your poems are delightful. I was once on another forum reading about liver woes when someone popped in and was asking about breathing issues. Someone promptly recommended BLF and someone else told them to look out for "a fellow named Don" who does some good rhymes. I jest you not. And this was quite some time ago. So you see, you are a delight to many of us, not just us here on BLF but on HU in general. I think there would be a mass virtual riot if you were to stop writing. xx 😘😘😁
