Hi ,I would like to thank all of you who answered my concerns about stomache problems ,D3 vitimin and Azithromycin, I saw my gp this morning,he didn't think my stomache problem was anything to do with tabs he thought more like irritable bowel,as I had a colonoscopy last October,and had nine polyps removed,(all were benign),and I have to be checked agian this October, my gp has wrote to today to bring my October colonoscopy forward a few weeks ,and to make sure I have it soon as the October one maybe late knowing the state NHS is in ,omg I hate theses colonoscopy, it's the preparation that is diabolical, the stuff you have to drink is awful, anyone who has had one will no what I mean ,honestly if they gave prisoners this treatment ,they would never commit another crime lol

Wishing you all the best for your colonoscopy. I haven’t had one so cant know how awful it is, but I hope it’ll all go as well as possible. It’s good that your appointment has been brought forward anyway, better than dragging the whole waiting out even longer. 🤞

I have had one. Ghastly. The prep is worse than the procedure. So awful Lee Evans did a stand up routine about it! Good luck, hope everything goes well for you.

That’s funny as after the first one I had years ago I said the exact same thing about people being in jail. I have had 3 colonoscopies over the years and each of the 3 had different preps, none of which are pleasant. Do you mind if I ask which one you get?

Sorry Jack carnt remember what the last one was called ,ithink the worse thing is you have to drink so much of it, and no food from the day before

Sounds like the last one is like the one I had in June. Two litres in the evening and two more litres in the middle of the night and yes nothing to eat the day before.

My daughter has Crohns and has had many colonoscopies. I have sat with her as she has been crying whilst she took this stuff.I googled it and found out that taking it with pure apple juice helps.She said that it does.Take a swallow then one of apple juice.

So true about the colonoscopy's!! I hope you get a good result. Furthermore that you can get the needed assistance for the IBS. x
