Pathogen Allergy Risk Of KIDs Toy Blow Bubbles

Shocking how something that seems so harmless LIKE KIDs Toy Blow Bubbles can be so deadly.

And that’s what’s happening home and abroad.

It’s not even like you have to buy them for your kids or you to be put at risk

Wow JAS, thanks for that info. I had no idea and gave thrown the bubbles away here. They’ve been open a while so I won’t take any chances. Xxxx

Hi sassy I only heard about it myself AS MY BROTHERS kid walked through load on holiday AND he had allergic reaction HE’s face went like a balloon and needed emergency hospital treatment within 10 mins of walking through them.

Very scary really AND glad to say he’s ok now

Gosh, who'd have ever thought it so thanks JAS for passing on this information. I shall tell all the mum's and dad's where I live.

Hope you've been able to have a decent weekend. Love to your Dad as ever.

Rather than everybody going into panic mode maybe there are sensible solutions to a potential problem with pathogens:

Panic mode? I hardly think that the problem still exists after it being published by a consumer council over 2 years ago.

in reply to SquirrelsHolt

But yet again needed insurance for treatment AND there me thinking spain had NHS

Spain have a very reliable and efficient National health system similar to our own in the way it is funded,EU citizens can obtain their services for free under the reciprocal agreement subject to the production of the EHIC card if they require emergency treatment whilst visiting .

nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/health...

i hope that this is maintained given the issue of Brexit but i very much doubt it will be.

in reply to skischool

Spain have trouble maintaining EU agreement as is AM sure U.K. will still tho

In crisis do SICK really want to argue it out TO make sure the recive National Health treatment in Spain and guess lot have to or stump up cost

Please don't make statements that are not based on fact with regard to Spain as this may deter people from travelling within the current arrangement to a very beautiful and civilised country.

i enclosed the link for guidance should your family continue with their continental adventures.of course most sensible people will take out travel health insurance when it is affordable as a backup.

in reply to skischool

Well that what happened to my brother PERSONALY I would of argued it out

But have to think of kids BUT that would not make me as bad as those trying it on.

Eu as threatened Spain loads times with court action for such practices behaviour SO yes as EU citizen am ok making such statements.

In the interests of forum harmony and under the guidance of the forum administrators i will discontinue this conversation as it is unlikely will will ever agree on anything. :(

in reply to skischool

I agree on that .. dose that count

in reply to skischool

I concur. I’m in Spain as I type and visited a Spanish GP here yesterday with a fairly minor ailment but which requires medication. Cost... free upon production of passport and EHIC card due to reciprocal agreement.

Happy to hear you had a successful consultation and that contrary to misguided beliefs the system does in fact perform as intended. :) x

in reply to skischool
