No, there are members from all over. If the member has left the site (is no longer a member), you may not be to reply.

You become a member by registering with the site, without registration you cannot post.

i am not sure why you cannot reply to a private message you have received perhaps Admin have in recent years blocked the use of private messaging until you reach so many posts, I am just guessing so best to contact admins or moderator for more information.

Les see my response below. You are a member coz you can post and reply on the main board. Did you respond to the email link when you joined?

I have sent a pm to Ben the moderator who will sort this out for you. x

No that's not how it works. This is a British platform but it is equally open to everyone round the world. When you join HU sends you a link via email and if you don't click on it to complete your registration then you can post but can't send pm's or reply to them. This wasn't always the case but HU beefed up their security measures a year or so ago. x

Sorry had to laugh les4560, British Lung Foundation is a clue to where we are. I wonder if the message was deleted after sending?? I am sure one of the admin people can help with this problem of a reply to a pm, as we have people from all over the world on this site. Hope you get it sorted x

You joined on 12th January this year and are also a member of the Asthma forum.

It's impossible to write any posts or replies without being a registered member so if you've had a problem with being unable to reply to a PM it'll be because either the person has left or there was just a glitch, it happens sometimes.

L(OL-yes it took me a while but I found that out-thank you so much for relying

Hi

It may be the case that the person you are trying to reply to has left the site.

That's the only reason I can think of that to explain why you'd get this message when you try to respond.

Thanks

Ben

Hey Les4460, I am an American in the USA and I have this app but also get emails from the site. Unfortunately it’s SOO easy to forget how we did something last year or sometimes even last hour or 5minutes ago. Just kinda follow along, I hope you’re breathing well today. This is a useful tool although most of the medications are by a different name over there on the other side of the pond( I’m not real good at geography so I still don’t quite get that nor cottage pie) but these people care and they’re for the most part quite genuine so hang in there and go with the flow✌️
